Social Media Expo JAX is held once a year in the fall.
Social Media Expo JAX is a single-day interactive learning and networking experience that most recently took place on Friday, November 3, 2023. This event is part of the School of Communication’s annual Media Week. The audience for this conference includes industry professionals, agencies, UNF staff, faculty, and students; all members of the public are invited to attend by registering. The event is designed to promote the exchange of information, ideas, insights, and innovations among professionals in social media, digital marketing, communication, and more. This experience focuses on strategy, skills, and best practices across the social media and digital industries through a series of lectures, workshops, panels, and networking opportunities.

Event ambassadorship - Sponsorship through providing event promotion in exchange for free event registration. We offer 1-2 free tickets to professionals who serve as event ambassadors by promoting the Expo among their digital communities, either their own of those of their organization, or both. These event ambassadors should post about the event (at least) 1x weekly between when registration begins and event day; roughly 10 weeks. We share a basic social media campaign plan ahead of time to keep marketing info consistent and support content needs for posting from week to week.
Monetary Sponsorship - Sponsorship in the form of monetary contributions of $250+. These sponsors receive 1 free ticket, the opportunity to table at the bet, and are featured (logo & link) on the event website.
Exclusive Event Sponsor - Sponsorship in the form of a monetary contribution of $1500+. This sponsor would be recognized as the distinguished sponsor of the 2023 Expo. These sponsors receive (up to) 4 free tickets for members of their organization to attend, have the opportunity to table at the event, and are featured (logo & link) on the event website.
