Leadership Mentoring

TLI offers several unique leadership mentoring opportunities including nationally-recognized programs that offers UNF students an opportunity to mentor local K-12 students, as well as connect with professionals leaders in the Jacksonville community. Research has shown that these mentorship experiences lead to positive outcomes including greater student achievement, engagement and career-readiness.

C.A.M.P. Osprey

The Collegiate Achievement Mentoring Program, C.A.M.P. Osprey, is an award-winning leadership mentoring program that pairs collegiate student leaders from the University of North Florida with local K-12 students. The program uses a three-pronged approach, which includes mentoring by collegiate student leaders, mentor and mentee leadership training with an innovative curriculum, and K-12 student visits to the University of North Florida.

Student leaders selected to participate in our program are given the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, mentor a child in these same leadership skills, make a difference in their community and understand the influence one can have in the field of education and educational leadership.

Leadership Mentor Program

The Leadership Mentor Program is an innovative career mentoring program which matches UNF students with successful career mentors in their field of study, providing students with real world insight, career-specific coaching and professional connections that will help prepare them for success after graduation.

Through TLI, students have the opportunity to connect with mentors in our select network of leaders and professionals in the greater Jacksonville area while also receiving valuable training, resources and ongoing support to ensure an impactful mentorship experience for students. Students in the program have reported benefits including career-specific skill development and a greater sense of direction and preparedness after graduation, as well as job offers, referrals and letters of recommendation from mentors.
