Compete in the Duval Kart Clash
Calling all high school competitors! If you aren't on the basketball court, hit the digital track. Join us at the UNF Flight Deck Esports Arena for a countywide Mario Kart 8™ tournament.
- Who: Open to all Duval County high school students (solo entrants).
- When: Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
- Where: Flight Deck Esports Arena in the John A. Delaney Student Union.
- Cost: Free to enter!
- Prizes: The winner takes home a trophy and a custom UNF Esports Jersey.
Explore the Robert W. Loftin Nature Trails
Need a break from the action? Step into some tranquility right on campus. Our nature trails are open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset, offering a peaceful retreat for the whole family.
- Goldenrod Trail: A 2.85 mile trek through diverse habitats, perfect for birding.
- Blueberry Trail: A scenic 1.44 mile loop around Lake Oneida. This trail also has exercise stations for you to take advantage of.
- Gopher Tortoise Ridge: This shorter, 0.78 mile sandy trail, is home to a healthy Gopher Tortoise population as well as countless reptiles and amphibians.
- Big Cyprus Trail: Connecting the Goldenrod and Blueberry trails, this 0.47 mile loop takes you past one of the 500 year old grandfather Cypress Trees on campus.
- Red Maple Boardwalk: A fully accessible 0.31 mile path through the beautiful Buck Head Branch Swamp.

We are offering complimentary parking for everyone in Lot 18 for the State Championship Tournament! To review exact times for the complimentary parking and directions to Lot 18 please click the button below. Overflow parking will also be available at FSCJ. Take advantage of your time on campus and see what we have to offer you. Lot 18 will put you in the Atheltics complex, but there is so much more just across UNF Dr. on the main campus. Restaurants will be open for food on the normal dining schedule and tours are offered every weekday if you'd like to get the full UNF experience during your time here.

Directions to Lot 18
Lot 18 from Beach Boulevard
At the Florida State College of Jacksonville (FSCJ) intersection (on the north side of the road), turn onto Central Parkway and follow the road, turn left at the UNF campus sign, and the lot is on the right.
Lot 18 from St. Johns Bluff Road
Going north on St. Johns Bluff Road, turn right at the traffic light onto Central Parkway (you will see a BP gas station), turn left at the UNF Campus sign, and the lot is on the right. Going south on St. Johns Bluff Road past the Beach Boulevard intersection, turn left at the traffic light onto Central Parkway (you will see a BP station), turn right at the UNF campus sign and the lot is on the right.
Lot 18 from UNF Drive
From the I-295 campus entrance, turn left on Eco Road, just past the UPD Police Building. From the Kernan Boulevard entrance, turn right off Alumni Drive at the fountain onto UNF Drive. Follow UNF Drive and take a right onto Varsity Lane located before the Arena building (34) and garage (38). Follow it to Lot 18.
