Elizabeth "E" Callihan Memorial Scholarship

CRITERIA

  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida,
  • Be a Florida resident for tuition purposes,
  • Either declare an intent to major in a teacher education program as a freshman or sophomore, or declare a major in a teacher education program as a junior or senior,
  • If a freshman, have a high school recalculated GPA of at least 3.0 or if a sophomore, junior or senior, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0,
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and
  • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Enroll as a full-time degree-seeking student (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester)
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 for the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years
  • Comply with all University regulations, rules and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • Consent to release of grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor
  • Remain in good standing as a student
