Academic Affairs

I. OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

To designate the online university catalog as the university's official catalog publication and to establish policy and procedures for revision and archival.

II. STATEMENT OF POLICY

The online catalog is the University of North Florida's official publication of courses, programs of study, policies and regulations, academic calendar, financial information, and a variety of student services. UNF maintains and publishes the catalog in accordance with SACSCOC Advertising, Student Recruitment, and Representation of Accredited Status policy.

III. PROCEDURES

Each academic year, the university catalog is revised and published on the UNF website prior to the start of the fall semester. During the academic year, when deemed appropriate, revisions will be applied (e.g., discipline accreditation adjustments) to the catalog. Additionally, the prior year's catalog will be archived as a navigable PDF and will be published and retained in the UNF Digital Commons maintained by the Thomas G. Carpenter Library.

A navigable PDF version of the university catalog will be provided to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) within 30 days of the official publication. An addendum will be provided to the VA when any major program or policy changes are applied to the catalog during the academic year.
