UNF Phi Kappa Phi chapter named Circle of Excellence Gold Chapter
The University of North Florida's chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society is proud to be honored as a Circle of Excellence Gold Chapter, one of the 22 prestigious groups recognized out of 325 Phi Kappa Phi chapters nationwide. This award, the second-highest commendation a chapter can achieve, is bestowed upon chapters that surpass expectations in their operations and exemplify sustainability and vitality within the Phi Kappa Phi community.
The Circle of Excellence Chapter Awards recognize chapters for outstanding efforts in promoting excellence on their local campuses and fostering engagement within the scholarly community each year. The awards leverage data on annual activities and initiation endeavors submitted by chapters to the national office.
Phi Kappa Phi, recognized as the oldest and most selective collegiate honor society spanning all academic disciplines in the nation, inducts around 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni annually. UNF’s Phi Kappa Phi chapter has approximately 500 active members.
