Florida named #1 in the country for higher education

UNF grad hugging another UNF gradFlorida was named the top state in the country for higher education by U.S. News & World Report. It has held the ranking for seven years. 

The University of North Florida is proud to be one of the state's 12 public universities.

For the rankings, U.S. News & World Report considered such metrics as four-year graduation rates, cost of in-state tuition and fees and the level of debt students carry at graduation.   

Florida continues to rank No. 1 for having the lowest tuition and fees.
