New UNF executive program offers HR development for mid to large businesses

The University of North Florida Coggin College of Business’ Executive Programs has launched a new Strategic People Management program to augment human resource development for mid-to-large sized businesses.

The four-topic series focuses on empowering business leaders and managers to embrace a more strategic human resources mindset, hone effective workforce management decision-making skills, and help their organizations thrive. Sessions cover accountability and ownership, people analytics, employee engagement, and creativity and innovation. The series can be taken individually or collectively.

Key benefits of the program include:

  • Learning to align human capital strategies with business strategies
  • Cultivating employee engagement and commitment to the organization’s goals
  • Establishing HR as a true partner in advancing and driving business goals
  • Enhancing value as a member of senior management team
  • Engaging with industry peers and building a professional network
  • Earning digital credentials and qualifying for the CGEP Partnership Program

Coggin College also plans to launch two new executive programs this spring. The first, offered in partnership with the Small Business Development Center at UNF, is centered on business resilience and continuity, particularly for small businesses.

The second, the Executive Briefcase, will focus on topics to help senior executives build and hone their toolkit of technical and interpersonal skills, including executive presence, storytelling with data, giving and receiving feedback, and strategic communication.
