National First-Generation College Celebration at UNF
The University of North Florida’s Office of Undergraduate Studies celebrated National First-Generation College Celebration by handing out “proud to be first-generation” pins on Monday. Many students, faculty and staff members stopped by to proudly collect their pins.
At UNF, 29% of our students reported they are the first generation in their families to attend college. We are proud to welcome these pioneering students and UNF offers resources such as the UNF Foundation’s First Generation Scholarships and undergraduate studies first-gen student resources.
