UNF celebrates religious and non-religious voices during Interfaith Week

Students sitting on the green at an Interfaith Center event.The UNF Interfaith Center, a division of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, recognizes Interfaith Week annually to celebrate religious and non-religious diversity and inclusion on campus.

The week of celebration will provide opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage in respectful dialogue with others from different backgrounds through workshops, a spiritual practice fair and more as part of this year’s theme, "Each Other's Harvest: A Celebration and Harvest of Religious and Nonreligious Diversity on Campus."

Interfaith Week Kickoff
Monday, Oct. 4
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Outside Founder's Hall, Building 2

Meet the Interfaith Center staff and students at the kickoff table for giveaways, food and details on what’s planned for the week.

Soul & Soil: Spiritual Practices and Brunch in Ogier Gardens
Tuesday, Oct. 5
10 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: Ogier Gardens, next to Parking Lot 18

Enjoy a tour of UNF's Ogier Gardens and learn more about practices from different religions and spiritualities including prayer, meditation and yoga. Brunch will be served after.

Intro to Interfaith Workshop
Wednesday, Oct. 6
1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Location: John A. Delaney Student Union, Building 58W, Meeting Room 3804

The Interfaith Center staff and student leaders will present a lively discussion on the definition of interfaith, religious and non-religious diversity and how to get involved at the Interfaith Center.

I-Dinner: Faith Fair
Thursday, Oct. 7
5 to 6:30 p.m.
Location: The Green, outside the Fine Arts Center

Bring your friends for a night of free food, fun and activities on the green to recognize religious diversity on campus.

Interfaith Week Closing Ceremony
Friday, Oct. 8
Noon to 1 p.m.
Location: Zoom

Location: Starbucks, next to the Thomas G. Carpenter Library, Building 12

Stop by the Interfaith table outside of Starbucks to get a free grande drink to conclude Interfaith Week.
