UNF ranked in Top 25 Best Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration Degree Programs

The University of North Florida bachelor’s in healthcare administration degree program (BHA) is ranked as one of the top 25 programs in the U.S. in 2021, according to Bachelor's Degree Center. Degree programs were ranked according to tuition, student reviews and graduate salary using current IPEDS and Niche data.

In UNF’s BHA program, students gain technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and experience to be successful in entry level positions in Healthcare Administration. Health Administration professionals function in a wide range of roles including facilities management, patient registration, financial management and healthcare operations. These activities can take place in a variety of settings that include hospitals, medical groups, insurance companies, long-term facilities, healthcare agencies and other healthcare organizations.

UNF's Health Administration faculty provides a high-quality educational experience and offers students the ability to receive an education that blends cutting edge business and leadership skills with a commitment to community service. Students are actively engaged in internships throughout the Jacksonville community with partners including Mayo Clinic, Baptist Health System, HCA, Flagler Health, Brooks Rehabilitation, Ascension/Saint Vincent's Health, UF Health Jacksonville and Florida Blue.

“This is a tremendous and well-earned honor for our Department of Health Administration.  While our community partners have been raving about our health administration graduates for years, it is nice to gain some national recognition as well,” said Dr. Curt Lox, Brooks College of Health dean.
