UNF named No. 1 Best Nursing Doctoral Degree School in Florida
The University of North Florida has been named the 
No. 1 Best Nursing Doctoral Degree School in Florida, according to Nursing Degree Search’s most recent Best Nursing Schools rankings.
UNF’s Brooks College of Health School of Nursing also ranked No. 7 in the Best Nursing Schools in Florida and No. 35 of the Best Nursing Schools in the Southeast Region.
“Our nursing doctoral program is unique because it is an online program with small class sizes that allows for individualized student attention from our faculty, said Dr. Cynthia Cummings, School of Nursing director. “In addition to teaching, most of our nursing faculty continue to practice and are well respected medical practitioners in our community. This provides our students with realistic and up-to-date knowledge and medical experience beyond the academic study.”
UNF’s graduate nursing programs offer a community-based, population-focused curriculum that is continuously updated to reflect current changes in healthcare delivery trends. The programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Florida Board of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
The Nursing Degree Search rankings are determined by calculating data provided by the U.S. Department of Education on post-graduate earnings, time to graduate, average student debt and other quality metrics.
