Funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the program will give UNF social work faculty and students the opportunity to collaborate with universities from Australia, Germany, and Namibia to develop an internationally focused, practice-oriented range of courses that anchors online learning in the context of blended mobility.

UNF’s Social Work Program will collaborate with Fulda University and the other International Virtual Academic Collaboration partner institutions to identify and develop social work practice courses that support their undergraduate social work programs as well as the English-study route for Fulda students. Online courses will be developed collaboratively to enhance intercultural competence within students’ social work practice skills and create new opportunities for synchronous and asynchronous exchanges between international students and instructors.

This program is part of UNF’s recently launched Global Engagement Initiative to support faculty efforts to provide students with distinctive educational and cultural experiences that will prepare them for effective social work practice with diverse client populations.
