UNF students to premiere unique virtual Opera Gala
The UNF Opera Ensemble will premiere the first-ever UNF Opera Gala virtually at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, Oct. 30. The Gala will feature UNF opera students performing various scenes and selections from the great opera choruses, as well as arias performed by the winners of the first-ever UNF Opera Gala Aria Competition.
In order to keep everyone safe during the pandemic, the student performers had to adapt to singing from behind the confines of a mask and the production team was creative with the design, stage setting and filming.
