Integrating The Arts At UNF

“The arts have a long and esteemed presence at the University of North Florida. Arts UNF underscores our steadfast commitment to the transformative potential of art, and our belief that creative exploration is at the heart of the University’s mission, vision, and values.” - Dr. Moez Limayem, University of North Florida President

Arts UNF is dedicated to leveraging art and creativity to support University programs and foster community engagement, while providing a cohesive structure for the University’s non-curricular arts assets: spaces, collections, and initiatives. These include the UNF Collection, the UNF Gallery of Art, the Lufrano Intercultural Gallery, the Cynthia and Walter R. Graham, Jr. M.D. Student Art Gallery at the Thomas G. Carpenter Library, and the University’s largest and most public-facing art asset, the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville.

The arts have great potential to enrich the student experience, foster research, teaching and learning, and develop new knowledge.
