University Support Personnel Association

“UNF is so fortunate to have employees who care deeply about students and the rest of the campus community. It is due in large part to the hard work and dedication of USPA employees that the University of North Florida is the great institution it is today.”

USPA President's Welcome

   Ted Hornoi-Centerwall

When you hear the phrase “Osprey pride,” think of the University support personnel staff (USPS). As members of the University Support Personnel Association (USPA), we are a major reason why the University of North Florida is the vibrant, welcoming place it is for its students, as well as for its faculty and staff.

So it is with great pride that our association contributes to the success of the educational endeavor that UNF represents, not just here in Jacksonville, Florida, but also across the United States and around the world.

With more than 500 members, the USPA performs a host of vital functions: From grounds keeping to facilities maintenance, from technical assistance to library services, the list goes on. What better way can there be to acknowledge how important your contribution is, than to offer a hearty “Thank You!”

One way of saying “Thank You” is to offer a range of services to our members. Please take the time to visit the USPA webpage and look the benefits you can take advantage of as USPA members.

I want to personally invite you to share with me any ideas that you have for ways to improve service here at UNF. If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments to share with us, please contact me, any of the USPA officers or one of the other members of the USPA staff affairs committee. We are here to serve you.

Thank you for helping make UNF a special place, of which we can all be justly proud!

 Most Sincerely,

Ted Hornoi-Centerwall, USPA President
