STEM on the Lawn Jacksonville is a free community event designed to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, inventors and problem-solvers. We are pleased to welcome you to the University of North Florida for this exciting event. Hosted by the Florida Semiconductor Institute at the University of Florida in partnership with UNF, Stem on the Lawn Jacksonville brings together industry, higher education and community organizations to showcase the exciting world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics through interactive experiences.
Whether you’re launching a rocket, meeting a robot, exploring virtual reality or discovering how semiconductors power everyday technology, there’s something for every curious mind. We can’t wait to see you!

Make the most of your visit to campus and enjoy the great outdoors while you are here. Before, after or between events, take a walk on the wild side in UNF's nature preserve, all free of charge and open to you!
Explore the Robert W. Loftin Nature Trails
Need a break from the action? Step into some tranquility right on campus. Our nature trails are open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset, offering a peaceful retreat for the whole family.
- Goldenrod Trail: A 2.85 mile trek through diverse habitats, perfect for birding.
- Blueberry Trail: A scenic 1.44 mile loop around Lake Oneida. This trail also has exercise stations for you to take advantage of.
- Gopher Tortoise Ridge: This shorter, 0.78 mile sandy trail, is home to a healthy Gopher Tortoise population as well as countless reptiles and amphibians.
- Big Cyprus Trail: Connecting the Goldenrod and Blueberry trails, this 0.47 mile loop takes you past one of the 500 year old grandfather Cypress Trees on campus.
- Red Maple Boardwalk: A fully accessible 0.31 mile path through the beautiful Buck Head Branch Swamp.

Experience Division I athletics at its finest. The North Florida Ospreys compete in the ASUN Conference, bringing high-energy competition to campus.
- Women's Volleyball: UNF women's volleyball team will be competing against Queens at 6 p.m. on October 24. After the event, you can watch top level collegiate volleyball right here at the UNF Arena! Or come back for a future game — UNF has 19 athletic teams competing throughout the year.
- Buy Your Merch: Check out the University Bookstore located in the Student Union to get all your Osprey gear!

We are offering complimentary parking.
Take advantage of your time on campus and see what we have to offer you. From the Arena Garage you can walk onto the main campus where you will see signs directing you to the Coxwell Amphitheater. You'll have lunch served at the event, but if you stick around longer, check here to see what restaurants will be open.

Arena Garage from Beach Boulevard
At the Florida State College of Jacksonville (FSCJ) intersection (on the north side of the road), turn onto Central Parkway and follow the road, turn left at the UNF campus sign and continue until you reach the roundabout, continue left on the roundabout and turn right onto Varsity Ln. behind the baseball field, from there you will drive until you reach UNF Dr., turn right and you will see the Arena Garage on your left.
Arena Garage from St. Johns Bluff Road
Going south on St. Johns Bluff Road past the Beach Boulevard intersection, turn left at the traffic light onto Central Parkway (you will see a BP station), turn right at the UNF campus sign and continue until you reach the roundabout, continue left on the roundabout and turn right onto Varsity Ln. behind the baseball field, from there you will drive until you reach UNF Dr., turn right and you will see the Arena Garage on your left.

From the I-295 campus entrance and continue down UNF Dr. until you reach the Arena Garage on your right. From the Kernan Boulevard entrance, turn right off Alumni Drive at the fountain onto UNF Dr. Follow UNF Dr. and continue until you reach the Arena Garage on your left.
