The Office of Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (OSLCE) builds upon UNF’s history of community engagement that began when the University was founded in 1972.

It provides students with rich, real world opportunities that enhance student learning, personal development and civic involvement while also contributing to the enrichment and well-being of the greater Jacksonville community and beyond.

Mission Statement

The Office of Service Learning and Civic Engagement encourages students to be active members of their local, national and global communities by offering service learning and civic engagement initiatives that are responsive to community needs and contribute to the public good.
