Biotechnology Certificate

Description

The Biotechnology Certificate is available to all UNF Biology students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Non-degree seeking, post-baccalaureate students are also eligible. Students majoring outside of the Biology department who believe they currently have (or will have) an equivalent academic experience should contact the Biology Department academic advisor.

Student Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

• Carry out and communicate the scientific principles that form the foundations of biotechnology field.
• Execute the necessary skills to collect, interpret, and critically analyze scientific data as it relates to the field of biotechnology.
• Use biological systems to solve scientific challenges that impact society
• Construct solutions related to problems in biotechnology by applying scientific knowledge.
