  • Overview

UNF Career Services will refund or offer credit (for a future, equal priced event/fair registration) for cancellations received in writing to careerservices@unf.edu by the cancellation deadline, which is at least seven (7) days prior to the event/fair. Please contact UNF Career Services directly by e-mail at careerservices@unf.edu to cancel your registration. For checks and credit card payments, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from your organization's cancellation refund.

Any cancellations received in writing AFTER the cancelation deadline may be considered for credit (for a future, equal priced event/fair registration) on a case-by-case basis. Furthermore, if you have not paid your registration in full and cancel after the cancellation deadline, you will still be responsible for payment.

No Show Policy: Registered companies that pay and Do Not Show/attend the UNF career event (without proper notification) will not have their registration fees refunded.  Registered companies that do not cancel by the cancellation deadline and have not paid for the event/fair are still responsible for the event/fair payment, even if the company Did Not Show/attend the event.

Outstanding payments from any UNF recruiting event will prevent your organization from participating in other events or services until your outstanding bill is paid.

  • Inclement Weather

    Rescheduled Event:

Should inclement weather cause the career center to reschedule the event, employers will be notified of the new event date as soon as possible.

If the organization chooses to participate on the rescheduled date, all fees, as well as cancellation policies will apply.

If your organization cannot attend the rescheduled event, an event credit of 100% of registration fees paid will be issued to your organization and must be used within one calendar year of the rescheduled event date. If you have not paid to attend the event and you cannot attend the rescheduled event, no penalty will apply.

    University Unable to Reschedule Event:

If we cannot reschedule the event, an event credit in the amount of 100% of the total amount of registration fees paid will be credited to registered organizations and must be used within one calendar year from the original event date. If you have not paid to attend the event and you cannot attend the rescheduled event, no penalty will apply.

    Other Weather Concerns:

If a company cannot attend an event due to inclement weather in their area (not the north Florida area), they must give the UNF Career Services at least 48-hour notice of their weather concern-related cancellation. Cancellations must be sent via e-mail to Career Services at careerservices@unf.edu.

If notice is given at least 48 hours in advance of the event, an event credit in the amount of 100% of the total amount of registration fees paid will be credited to registered organizations. Credit must be used within one calendar year. If you have not paid to attend the event and you cannot attend the rescheduled event, no penalty will apply.
