Cascade Training

Web Training: All trainings are through Osprey Ascend and you must be logged in to see the calendar.

CMS permissions are required to attend the sessions.

Basic Training

Basic training is mandatory for new web editors of sites in Cascade CMS. Participants will be guided through the essentials of the content management system.

Summer 2025

Website Accessibility 1

This class is mandatory and will go over ways to make sure your webpages are ADA compliant and how to use web accessibility evaluation tools.

Cascade and ADA Refresher

This is for current editors who need to freshen up their skills. Topics will include the basics of editing, ADA compliance and reviewing best practices, procedures and guidelines.

Website planning, design, development and training.

Office and Department Websites

  • Permissions and training: To obtain permissions and access to an office or department website, a web content editor must receive training from the Web and Digital Services team.
  • Creating and maintaining content: Content editors are responsible for maintaining existing content, keeping it up-to-date and checking for accessibility.
  • Content strategy: All University office and department websites should reflect the University’s branding guidelines. Marketing and Communications will contact you if your office website needs a content review or refresh.
  • Web Analytics: If you would like access to Google Analytics for your department, contact webmaster@unf.edu.
