Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life
Mission Statement
Fraternity & Sorority Life strives to be the preeminent leadership and character-development engine of the University on a local and (inter)national level. The department strives to help foster a Fraternity and Sorority Community with a sense of belonging and increased self-confidence, social skills, networking, and overall good stewardship among each organization’s chapter and within the entire University of North Florida body. Fraternity & Sorority Life endeavors to advocate for the personal growth of all students involved in a fraternal experience by supporting the common Community pillars of strong academic performance, leadership, fellowship, bolstered campus life, personal responsibility, and service to all. The zenith of the department is to ready Fraternity and Sorority college students for life to such an extent that the University embraces the Community with pride and treasures the unlimited collaborations which may occur through innovative and ongoing partnerships campus-wide.
