Blackboard Collaborate is not intended to be course copied, but recordings can be. For a session it is recommended that you create new sessions for each course and not attempt to copy them.
Inline grading Croc Doc viewer does not display form data properly. For a description of form fields in Microsoft Word click here. This also includes the Reference tool in MS Word.
If you know or suspect the submitted document has form data in it, the best practice is to save the file to your computer and open it outside of Blackboard.
Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome have changed the way embedded content is displayed in their browsers. Before it would display the content without requiring action from the user now both browsers require you click on a shield icon located in the address bar.For Google Chrome the shield icon appears at the end of the URL in the address bar located at the top of the browser (see below).

There is a known issues within SafeAssign that causes students to receive the error, "Sorry, we do not think you are logged in to SafeAssign. Your session may have time out. If you have received this message in error, please contact your system administrator." when submitting a their assignment. To fix this problem students will need to allow their web browser to save third-party cookie data. Below are instructions for changing third-party cookie settings in your browser.

It is a known issue that the Create Site button and/or Save Changes button within BbCAR do not appear when using the Internet Explorer browser. It is recommended that you use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome when requesting your courses for Blackboard as this issue does not occur with these web browsers.
On Friday May 8th, Blackboard announced an interruption of the availability of their YouTube Mashup and Video Everywhere tools. All existing course content will continue to work, but the ability to create new content with these tools is currently broken. When attempting to embed a video using either tool users receive a video error saying the service is no longer available for this device. Blackboard has not yet announced when they will have a fix for this issue. We will continue to monitor the situation , and In the meantime suggest using the Embed Media tool or ShareStream for embedding video content in your Blackboard course(s).
