UNF Launches Two New Doctorate Programs in Nursing Practice and Physical Therapy.

UNF will offer a doctorate degree in nursing practice and a doctorate degree in physical therapy -- two areas of critical need for workers in the health care industry.

College of Health Expansion

UNF recently broke ground on a new 4 story addition. The $10.15 million addition is expected to be about 33,000 square feet and will house classrooms and administrative office space for UNF's School of Nursing. The facility is expected to be ready for use by the fall of 2008.

Former Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller, the keynote speaker at UNF’s “Us” Women and Girls Health Initiative annual luncheon, emphasizes healthy living in an interview on WJXT Channel 4. This luncheon was also covered by The Florida Times-Union.
