The Pride Games

The Pride Games is an intercollegiate high school competition open to Duval County Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) and/or Pride Clubs. Teams representing Duval County high schools will be able to compete in four different categories: LGBTQ+ History, Speech, Case Competition & Talent Competition. This one-day event will be hosted at UNF, by the LGBTQ Center and will also give Advisors/Teachers the opportunity to attend Professional Development workshops that will help them to provide updated resources to their students.

Each Spring, the LGBTQ Center hosts a Lavender Graduation to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally students to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to UNF and/or the Jacksonville community. High School Seniors, Undergraduate and Graduate students are eligible to participate in the ceremony if they identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or as an ally of the LGBT community. This year, we will be honoring the Top 50 UNF LGBTQ Leaders, including former and current UNF staff, faculty and alumni.
