USPA stands for University Support Personnel Association, and is the representative voice of its members, wherein individuals may voice their beliefs, concerns, or suggestions about the university. Membership includes all persons who have achieved permanent status in USPS positions at the University of North Florida.
The university recognizes the diverse talents of USPA employees. Many resources are available to help promote personal and professional development through education and training initiatives.
TRAINING AND INFORMATION

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
The following awards
honor employees who have demonstrated exceptional
commitment to the University. These individuals regularly and consistently
exceed expectations and go above and beyond the requirements of their
job. There are three different individual awards to nominate someone and one Customer Service Award to nominate a department, office or unit:
Excellence Award Is given to Administrative and Professional (A&P) and Support
(USPS), Out-of-Unit Faculty or OPS staff for notable contributions to the
University that are significantly above and beyond the range of the job

Award Is designed to reward someone for an act that seemingly took
a simple effort but ultimately will have lasting positive effects on
either students, faculty, staff, visitors or safety in the workplace. Nomination form Here
The Gabor/UNF Foundation Award honors employees who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the University. These individuals regularly and consistently exceed expectations and go above and beyond the requirements of their job.
Customer Service Award
Is granted to any UNF department, office or unit that has contributed to the enhancement of quality customer service at the University, proven exceptional initiative in "going the extra mile" to provide service to internal and external customers with timely and appropriate follow up, confirmed responsiveness to the needs of students, patrons or customers and demonstrated improvement of customer service and satisfaction. INFORMATIVE MEMBER MEETINGS
The USPA officers and staff affairs committee regularly coordinate assemblies which are held at least twice a year for USPA employees. The staff is committed to communicating the information employees need to succeed in a positive working and learning environment.
