Enterprise Applications Integration
Prerequisite: ISM4011 Introduction to Management Information Systems
Description: This course is an introduction to basic concepts in enterprise applications with an emphasis on how business applications are used to solve business problems. Enterprise applications are designed to integrate computer systems that run an organizationâ€™s operations and facilitate cooperation and coordination across the enterprise. It will examine strategies and methods for integrating interdependent systems into a functioning whole, enabling two or more applications to interact and exchange data seamlessly. The course will explore enterprise information technology (both hardware and software) and techniques for systems integration as well as best practices for integration projects.
