Graphic Design Portfolio
Prerequisites: Acceptance into Graphic Design and Digital Media program, and senior status or departmental permission.
Description: In this concluding course of the Graphic Design and Digital Media program, students produce a portfolio of work that demonstrates advanced critical thinking, conceptualization, technical proficiency, and visual composition. They revise and refine projects created in previous semesters to support a focused area of interest. New work may be developed to create a comprehensive and diverse portfolio. Professional goals are considered in evaluating and utilizing effective presentation formats. The course emphasizes studentsâ€™ ability to articulate design concepts and decisions through oral and written communication. (A material fee of $15 will be assessed.)
