Prerequisite:  EHD 4311
Description: This course is designed to give learners the opportunity to learn about pedagogy and curriculum as related to educating students who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Learners completing this course satisfactorily will be able to plan yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily lessons using a variety of formats. Learners will be introduced to instructional skills in the areas of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, learners will be able to practice many of the technical skills needed to prepare instructional materials for the classroom. The learner will also be introduced to the development and adaptation of curriculum materials and instructional procedures in mathematics, science, and social studies to fit the special educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
