Course Description for Environmental Physiology

BSC4801C: Environmental Physiology
Prerequisite:  PCB 3023C AND PCB 3063C
Description: This course is designed to prepare students to conduct research in environmental physiology or a related field. Through lecture and discussion (1 credit), students will learn how animals cope with challenging, changing environments. In lab (3 credits), students first will be taught how to measure an animal’s physiological response to stress; then students will conceive, design, conduct, and report their own project using this experimental system.
