Prerequisite: PHC 6000.
Description: his course is a study of the research process and its application to health science. Emphasis will be given to interpreting and evaluating contemporary health-related research reports, and to the components of a research proposal. Class lectures, discussions, student presentations and projects, required readings and outside assignments are designed to assist in building an appreciation of the importance of research in the solution of health problems and acquiring the skills needed to read, comprehend, relate and apply research reported in the health science professional literature.
