A&P Mentorship Program
The mission of our mentorship program is to forge dynamic and meaningful professional relationships that inspire growth and foster collaboration among participants. We aim to elevate the professional development and enhance the institutional knowledge of our new A&P Association members. Through this experience, mentors and mentees will engage in enriching discussions and insightful exchanges, meeting for at least one hour each month to explore ideas, tackle challenges, and celebrate successes. While the official mentorship lasts for one year, we wholeheartedly encourage these impactful relationships to flourish beyond that timeframe, paving the way for lifelong connections and continued professional growth.

Mentorship Overview
-
Program structure
To ensure a truly impactful mentorship experience, we embrace a flexible approach with minimal oversight in pairing mentors and mentees. Once the pairings are established, the A&P Executive Board will provide a helpful checklist to kickstart your journey. After that, it’s all about the mentor and mentee taking the initiative to connect regularly and fully leverage this invaluable opportunity. We believe that the most meaningful relationships flourish with open communication and shared commitment, allowing both parties to thrive! -
Experience requirements
Mentors are required to have at least seven years of experience working at UNF in a full-time role. This experience is not limited to an A&P role. Mentors are not required to posses any previous mentorship, teaching or leadership experience. -
Benefits of participating
Both mentees and mentors stand to gain tremendously from their pairing! Engaging in a mentorship program not only enhances professional growth but also serves as an impressive addition to annual employee evaluations. The insights and skills acquired through this enriching experience are truly invaluable, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development that benefits everyone involved!
