VyStar Computing Scholars Scholarship

The University of North Florida's College of Computing, Engineering and Construction is proud to offer the VyStar Computing Scholars scholarship.

Criteria

Successful applicants must:

  • meet all admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • enroll full-time with at least 12 semester house in the Fall and Spring semesters
  • declare a major major in the School of Computing
  • maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of the College of Computing, Engineering and Construction
  • Preference will be given to students who participated in VyStar's high school internship program

Responsibilities

Scholarship recipients must:

  • comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor
  • remain in good standing as a student

Renewal

This scholarship is available for a consecutive Fall and Spring semester per student, one time. This scholarship is not eligible for renewal by a previous recipient.

Of Note

The fund manager will determine the award amount, however, the award cannot exceed the maximum cost of tuition, books, campus housing, meal plan, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses, as reflected in the annual "Cost of Education" budget prepared by the UNF Financial Aid Office.
