ZOO4753C: Histology 4
Prerequisites: BSC 1010C, BSC 1011C, BSC 2012C This course focuses on the structure and function of cells, tissues and organs. Students will learn to identify all major cell types and their functions in the human body. Lecture material will be integrated in the lab through histological diagnostics at the light microscope and preparation of microscope slides. The laboratory involves experimentation with living animals and/or dissection of preserved animals. The course includes three hours of lecture and four hours of laboratory. (A laboratory fee of $51.93 will be assessed.)
