Katie joined the UNF family in June 2019. Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family & Child Sciences from Florida State University in 2013 and Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University in 2015. Katie's professional interests are in supervision, strategic planning, facilities and wellness. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her miniature dachshund named George, long-distance running, crafting, cooking/baking, billiards, playing the tuba and musicals/Broadway.
As one of the Assistant Directors of Housing and Residence Life, Katie's responsibilities include: supervising the Residence Life Coordinators (RLCs), providing vision for first-year communities of Osprey Cove, Osprey Crossings and Osprey Landing, oversees the department's training & development processes, manages the department's assessment initiatives, as well as summer operations. Katie also serves as a member of the Housing and Residence Life Senior Leadership Team.

- Students in crisis or needing assistance with a concern that cannot be resolved by in-hall staff
- Following up with other Residence Life staff members
- Overall Housing and Residence Life initiatives
