2024/2025 Housing Information for students not in the First-Year Student Group

Please review all of the information carefully as the demand for Fall 2024/Spring 2025 on-campus bed space is extremely high.

UPDATE: As of May 15, 2024, Housing and Residence Life has expanded the availability of the 2024/2025 Academic Year Housing Contract for the time being to any admitted UNF students who has a desire to live on-campus for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.

To submit a housing contract please log into myHousing.

For Fall 2024/Spring 2025, there will be approximately 3,700 rentable bed spaces in the 7 residential communities. Of the 3,700 beds, approximately 50% of the beds will be for newly admitted first-year students and 50% will be for rising sophomore students and above.

  • For those students who fully submit a housing contract by June 3, 2024, Housing and Residence Life will provide an opportunity to participate in an on-line room selection process to select available bed spaces beginning June 10, 2024.

  • While this specific June room selection process is underway there may be some space available to select in Osprey Village, Osprey Fountains and The Flats at UNF, however, it is anticipated that some of bed spaces that may be available will be within Osprey Landing, Osprey Cove and/or Osprey Crossings.  Prior to the June room selection process Housing and Residence Life will update all participants via e-mail with what bed space types will be initially available when the process begins June 10, 2024.

  • Submission of a UNF Housing Contract does not guarantee a specific bed assignment or assignment to a specific type of accommodation (community, room, suite or apartment) or guarantee a specific roommate(s) or any preference(s) indicated by a student.

Please note the following:

  • Students registered with the Student Accessibility Center (SAC) follow the same timeline and process as listed above to submit a housing contract. A student’s identified housing-related accommodation for the current or for any previous semester (room-type, location, etc.) is not reviewed until a housing contract has been submitted and the student has received a direct e-mail verification from Housing and Residence Life. Housing and Residence Life will work directly with the student to work towards an appropriate bed assignment.

  • The process to ultimately receive a bed assignment is a multiple step process and requires students to take specific required actions.

  • Submission of a UNF Housing Contract does not guarantee a bed assignment or participation in the online room selection process or assignment to a specific type of accommodation (community, room, suite or apartment) or guarantee a specific roommate(s) or any preference(s) indicated by a student.

  • The earlier a student fully completes all steps of the housing contract submission process in myHousing, which may include the submission of a one-time $100.00 processing fee, the higher priority the student has.

  • The UNF Housing Contract for the 24/25 academic year establishes a legal and binding agreement as soon as it is submitted. With this in mind Housing and Residence Life encourages students to carefully review the full terms and conditions, including the following cancellation timeline and associated fees:
Cancellation March 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024
$500.00 Cancellation Fee + Non-refundable $100.00 Processing Fee = total amount due to cancel contract

Cancellation  July 1, 2024 – August 13, 2024
$1,000.00 Cancellation Fee + Non-refundable $100.00 Processing Fee = total amount due to cancel contract

Cancellation after August 13, 2024
Student assessed one half of the remaining amount owed on the full agreement = total amount due to cancel contract
