UNF Preschool

oneColumn

As young Ospreys explore, they learn to soar.

Serving the local community since 1975, the University of North Florida Preschool is a premier example of an ideal preschool. The UNF Preschool embraces a Reggio-Inspired model of learning with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and math, STEAM. Here, children experience a high-quality project and inquiry-based curriculum that cultivates language and literacy skills, mathematical thinking, scientific inquiry and creativity, as well as the social emotional skills necessary for the development of the whole child. In addition, we target the 6’s of 21st century learning: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creative thinking, content and confidence. We serve young children aged two and a half to five years old in a safe, culturally diverse, intellectually stimulating and nurturing environment. We are open to UNF students, faculty, alumni, staff and the Jacksonville community.
