Issues in Sport
Description: This course includes a study of the major social and ethical issues relating to sport. The course revolves around in-depth discussions among athletes, academics, coaches, administrators, doctors, lawyers, and business people concerning issues in sport. Students will encounter unique descriptive accounts which depict how sports actually affect individuals, organizations, institutions, and society. Philosphical, socio-cultural, and technological issues are also a part of the learning agenda in the course.
