The Department of Public Health offers a wide variety of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The primary goal of the programs in the Department of Public Health is to prepare students to successfully practice their profession in relevant healthcare and other related settings. Public Health Graduates are prepared to excel in a range of roles including professional practitioners, healthcare leaders, healthcare researchers and health educators. Additionally, each program helps students understand the field by building relationships with the appropriate community healthcare organizations.
Each program has specific program competencies based on national accrediting bodies and professional organizations.
The respective programs and their accrediting agencies are listed below:
Masters in Public Health, accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH);
Masters of Science in Health with a specialization in Geriatric Management.
