Web Service Conversations and Compositions
Web service is increasingly becoming a leading choice of technology among integration designers to develop enterprise solutions. This preference can be attributed to two key functionalities: web service compositions and web service conversations. Theoretical analysis of current instantiations of web services indicate that support for composing services is stronger, while support of conversations among services is weak. However, it is critical for web services to support long-running conversations among the integrated applications to be a viable solution for enterprise integration. The focus of this research aim is to develop methodologies and tools that allow organizations to achieve fullest potential of web services.
