The Power of Transformation

The Power of Transformation Campaign is a huge success

Whether giving talent or treasure, everyone connected with UNF made a difference in The Power of Transformation campaign - the most successful capital campaign in the history of the University of North Florida. Every donor and every dollar made a difference as we overcame - together - one of the worst economic periods in the history of this country to raise more than $130 million for the future of this University and its students and faculty.

More than $42 million raised for scholarships

Nearly 900 students receive assistance every year with scholarships provided through the UNF Foundation. These scholarships make it possible for our students to concentrate on their studies while frequently minimizing, or sometimes even eliminating, college loans. Donors to The Power of Transformation campaign established many of these scholarships.

Nearly $6 million raised for fellowships

Dozens of graduate students receive assistance every year with fellowships provided by donors to The Power of Transformation campaign. For those students who have already received an undergraduate degree, fellowships make it possible to concentrate on graduate classes without the burden of student loans.

$19 million raised to fund professorships at UNF

The Power of Transformation has also had a major impact on the University's quality of instruction through the establishment of professorships. The UNF Foundation maintains about 40 endowed and non-endowed professorships each year, benefiting thousands of students who experience the transformational learning offered at UNF.

Nearly $50 million raised for academic enhancements

Public-private partnerships have played an important role over the years in enhancing the UNF educational experience such as those in the Brooks College of Health. These partnerships help students both directly in the classroom with hands-on learning opportunities and indirectly through the funding of professorships and faculty research.

More than $14 million raised for capital improvements

The partnership between software companies and the Transportation and Logistics Flagship program in the Coggin College of Business is another example of how the business community is improving the classroom experience at UNF.

Boasting the only Logistics Information Technology Solutions Lab in the Southeast, the UNF program offers students and executives in the region an opportunity to learn about state-of-the art supply chain tools and solutions. The LITSLAB, as it is known, is one of the best-equipped university labs of its kind in the nation thanks to software donations from Manhattan Associates, Barloworld and Magaya. The donations are valued at more than $1.3 million and have been instrumental in giving UNF graduates the knowledge base to be highly competitive in the global marketplace.
