Saturday @ the Nest
Anyone at any grade level can attend a Saturday @ the Nest event. If you have already applied to the University of North Florida, Saturday @ the Nest is a great event to take care of any business you may have (complete the FAFSA, turn in documents, etc.). If you have not applied, you will be able take a campus tour, meet with admissions and financial aid representatives and learn more about the university through informational sessions.
Yes, we would be more than happy to take your documents. We recommend checking your myWings portal before the event to see what needs to be turned in. If you have specific questions about the documents, we encourage you to reach out to our One-Stop Student Services Office at (904) 620-5555 for more information.
Admissions and financial aid representatives will be available on a walk-in basis throughout the day. If you have general questions, we recommend attending their presentations first and then meeting with them afterwards if your questions were not answered. The agenda will be emailed to you as the event date approaches so you can plan your trip accordingly.
Along with campus tours, you will have the opportunity to meet with admissions and financial aid representatives, attend informational sessions, speak with various campus departments and complete any last-minute business you may have (fill out and application/FAFSA, turn in documents, etc.).
Faculty will not be in attendance at Saturday @ the Nest. If you are wanting to speak with faculty, we recommend reaching out to that college directly, or attending their college-specific Explore UNF. To see when those will be held, please visit http://www.unf.edu/welcomecenter/ExploreUNF/.
