The Certificate in TESOL will allow non-degree seeking students to build their knowledge, skills, and dispositions in the area of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the graduate level. The certificate will require 18 graduate credit hours. Students who complete the Certificate in TESOL, and hold this credential, will be eligible to compete in the world market of TESOL. Students who already have a master's degree could also teach TESOL courses at the undergraduate level at any institute of higher education.
