The Office of Undergraduate Research sponsors, hosts, or participates in several conferences each year. Additionally, the OUR may arrange for students to attend conferences hosted by other universities or institutions.
The Showcase of Osprey Advancements in Research and Scholarship (SOARS) is a universitywide conference that allows undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff to present their research or creative projects. SOARS is a welcoming environment for undergraduates to practice their presentation skills in front of their peers and faculty. SOARS is interdisciplinary, so all students are welcome to present. The conference consists of several poster sessions for undergraduate and graduate students.
All university members and community members are welcome to attend SOARS. If you are presenting or are a faculty, staff, or administrator from UNF, then we welcome you to join us for lunch during the event. For those not presenting, refreshments will be available. If you are planning to attend but not present, then you do not have to register.

The International Research Symposium is an event open to all undergraduates, faculty, and staff. Students will present their research, creative projects, or study abroad reflections using a poster format. There is no cost to attend.
This event is hosted by the International Studies Program, the Office of Undergraduate Research, and the International Center.
