Travis Shore


Travis joined Vanderbilt University in March 2014 and serves as Managing Director in the Office of Investments where he oversees public market investments. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Travis served as Investment Director for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and New York University where he was a generalist investor across asset classes. Travis entered non-profit investment management when he joined University of Florida Investment Corporation (UFICO), where he managed hedge fund investments and assisted with overall investment strategy. He previously worked for Wachovia Corporation as Vice President/Director in Alternative Strategies and Associate Director in Manager Due Diligence. Travis began his career with Merrill Lynch Credit Corp.


Travis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from the University of North Florida and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
