Shantel Johnson-Davis currently serves as the assistant vice president for corporate real estate with CSX. In this role, Shantel works with cross functional teams to develop professional and comprehensive real estate acquisition services for internal and external customers to ensure timely construction and completion of rail infrastructure and terminal projects. In her previous role as assistant vice president and general manager for phosphate and fertilizer, she provided executive sales and marketing leadership for implementing both short and long term business strategies and supply chain solutions to maximize results for an approximately $500M portfolio of revenue and volume growth for domestic and global distribution. Shantel also managed the operations of one of the largest fertilizer port terminals.
She earned an M.B.A from Jacksonville University and a B.S. from University of North Florida.
Shantel is currently a board member for the Sulzbacher Center as well as a mentor for the CSX Associate Development Program. She recently served on the board of directors for the Tampa YMCA Central City prior to relocating to Jacksonville. In 2013, Shantel was named one of the top 100 emerging leaders by diversityMBA.
Shantel is a native of Jacksonville, is the proud mother of one daughter and enjoys traveling, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
