Student Leadership Summit

The Student Leadership Summit is the Institute’s annual flagship event and occurs each Fall semester. The Summit is a conference-style event, which offers attendees valuable leadership perspectives, lessons and interactive experiences, enabling students to view themselves as leaders while developing and mastering advanced concepts and practical applications of leadership.

Summit Description

This year's theme - Leadership & Activism: Awakening the Change Agent in You – will explore the intersection of leadership and activism, highlighting the ways in which students can get actively engaged to create positive change. Through a series of  interactive and impactful sessions, students will develop a deeper understanding of the values and passions that drive them, hear from inspiring activist leaders, and learn the tools they need to take action in their own communities.


Fostering fun and opportunity, the Annual Student Leadership Summit is packed full of experiential learning opportunities for students, community leaders and volunteers. The UNF Student Leadership Summit is a flagship program of the Taylor Leadership Institute, a department within the Division of Student and International Affairs. Funded through the Student Life & Services Fee, this extraordinary event is free and open to all UNF students. Held each Fall, the Summit provides an opportunity to hear from influential leaders from around the world on a range of current leadership topics and themes. The experience will empower you to develop meaningful interactions with campus and community partners and connect you with "real world" venues to practice leadership.
