Community Swoop started as a pilot program in the spring of 2017. Student Government created this program in order to get students more actively involved in the Jacksonville community. Student Government has created various partnerships in the Jacksonville area that offers UNF students discounts at their establishments. This year, student government has created even more partnerships and will be continuing this discount program for the entirety of the 2017-2018 academic year. Community Swoop partners offer students a 15% discount for the entirety of the 2017-2018 school year when students show their Osprey1 card at checkout.
