What: The 17th annual SOARS will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 from 10 am to 3 pm. SOARS is a university-wide conference that allows undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff to present their research and creative projects. SOARS is a welcoming environment for undergraduates to begin practicing their presentation skills in front of their fellow peers and faculty. SOARS is interdisciplinary and so all students are welcome to present. SOARS consists of poster presentations that last 50-55 minutes. This year, SOARS will feature STARS (faculty presentations), the Digital Humanities Initiative, an Undergraduate Researcher of the Year Award, Mentor of the Year Award, Showcase Poster Awards, and a graduate school fair.
