5 Weeks to a 5K Training Program

 

Kick-start 2020 by training for the UNF Swoop the Loop 5K (or just train for fun!). The 5 week program runs January 13 - February 14. This 3 mile race takes place on campus, February 15 during Homecoming Week. The training program is free for UNF students, UNF faculty/staff and SWC members with a valid Osprey 1Card.

 

How Does It Work?

  1. Get a program log and training calendar on the first floor of the Student Wellness Complex at Member Services or on the second floor at the Dottie Dorion Fitness Center desk.
  2. Cover the distance at least 3 days per week (make-up days use the mileage from the previous day)
  3. Run on our indoor track, around campus or on a treadmill. Record activity with a tracking app or by taking a picture.
  4. Have a our fitness staff or member services staff stamp your program card and store it.
  5. Receive a t-shirt after 8 stamps.
  6. Register and run the Swoop The Loop 5K
